2023 (JUNIOR): Honorable mention All-Mountain West … started in all 13 games this season … had 38 receptions for 378 yards and four touchdowns … had the second-most touchdowns among tight ends in the MW … led the Bulldogs in receiving yards at Utah State (Oct. 13) with a career-high 76 yards on five catches. It was the first time a tight end led Fresno State in yards receiving since 2018 … against Utah State, Watson recorded two receiving touchdowns. It was the first time a Bulldog tight end had two receiving TDs in a game since 2015 … had at least one catch in 12 of 13 games this year ... member of the Fresno State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) ... 2022 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in eight games … started in four … had eight receptions for 80 yards on the year …had a season-high four receptions and 39 yards at UConn (Oct. 1) … also added two tackles at UConn … suffered a season-ending injury against San Diego State (Oct. 29) ... 2021 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 12 games and started two … recorded 10 catches for 134 yards as a true freshman … had a season-best performance at the PUBG Mobile New Mexico Bowl, recording two catches for 41 yards … had a career-long 25-yard catch at Hawai’i (Oct. 2) … had a career-best four receptions at then-No. 21 San Diego State (Oct. 30) … averaged 13.4 yards per catch … played a big role in blocking for the run game as well this season … helped Fresno State to two wins over ranked opponents, both on the road.
