Outdoor (Freshman):
Competed at the Fresno State vs. Cal Poly Dual meet and threw the javelin 50[apos]-5' (15.38m), which was a career-best and placed fourth overall.
Indoor (Freshman): Competed at one indoor meet this season, the Run for the Dream meet at the Save Mart Center where she ran the 55m and took 31st place with a time of 8.29.
Prior to Fresno State:
Three-year letterwinner in track at Liberty High in Bakersfield ... won the Most Outstanding Newcomer award in 2010 and the Coach[apos]s Award in 2011 ... in 2013 she was a part of record-setting 4x4 and 4x1 teams.
Personal:
Born on October 1, 1994 in Bakersfield, Calif. ... parents are Donna and Peter Pinto ... hobbies include art and learning about history and science ... she is a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority at Fresno State ... came to Fresno State because she wanted to push herself at a Division I institution that was close to home, but still far enough where she would have to learn to be on her own.
