FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's soccer team notched a 3-1 win over Colorado College on Senior Day. Julia Glaser and Carly Bracken tallied the three goals for Fresno State. This marks Fresno State's fourth consecutive win, and the Bulldogs move that much closer to clinching a Mountain West Tournament bid.
"We are really happy for our seniors and the effort that they've put in all season," said head coach Brian Zwaschka. "Senior Day is always emotional, but they were able to put that aside and play a great game to go out with a bang. We wanted to make sure we came out with energy so that we could get ahead in the beginning of the game, and I think we did a great job with that. We knew that Colorado College was a team that could get back in the game after being down a few goals, so I'm pleased with the way our defense responded to the goal they scored and the way we finished the game out."
Senior Day celebrated the team's nine seniors in Bracken, Peyton Cline, Sara Jo Ciapponi, Anna Crawford, Kaitlyn Crooker, Myra Delgadillo, Marina Kerrache, Alissa Pham and Angie Weiner.
Fresno State improves to 10-5-3 (4-3-2 MW) on the season. The 'Dogs are currently in fifth place in the MW standing.
Bracken, Ciapponi, Cline, Crawford, Crooker, Delgadillo, Kerrache, Pham, Weiner and Glaser led the charge for the 'Dogs, with Nicole Theroux in the box.

Fresno State extended its lead to 2-0 in the 18th minute, when Glaser scored off a breakaway pass from Bracken.
Colorado College took its first shot on goal in the 30th minute but Theroux was there to make the save.
Marie Berwinkel-Kottmann checked in for Fresno State at goalkeeper, her fourth appearance of the season.
The Tigers' tried to get on the board in the 38th minute but Berwinkel-Kottmann held them scoreless into halftime.
On the half, Fresno State recorded more shots (8-5) and saves (2-1). Colorado College had more corner kicks (4-2).
SECOND HALF – Fresno State came out of the huddle firing. Glaser took the first shot of the half in the 48th minute, but Colorado College's goalkeeper was there to make the play. Delgadillo followed her corner kick in and sent a pass to Bracken, who found the back of the net for Fresno State's third goal. The 'Dogs had a 3-0 lead with 41 minutes left in the half.

Alex Best checked in as goalkeeper for the 'Dogs in the 73rd minute, making her second appearance of the season.
Fresno State's 3-1 lead proved too large for Colorado College to overcome. The 'Dogs defense limited the Tigers to one shot on goal for the remainder of regulation, Best made the save to lock in the win.
