'Dogs face Spartans on the road in MW finale

San Jose, Calif. – The Fresno State women's soccer team will take a four-game winning streak on the road to San Jose State on Friday, Oct. 27. The Bulldogs' last Mountain West matchup will begin at 2:30 p.m. PT. Both teams have already secured bids to the 2017 MW Tournament.Â

San Jose State is 11-5-1 (8-1-1 MW) this season, 7-2 at home.

The Bulldogs notched a 3-1 win over Colorado College on Senior Day. Julia Glaser and Carly Bracken tallied the three goals for Fresno State. Glaser headed the ball over the goalkeeper's head to put the 'Dogs up 1-0, with 35 minutes left in the half. Fresno State extended its lead to 2-0 in the 18th minute, when Glaser scored off a breakaway pass from Bracken.
