Fresno State doubles pair’s regional run ended in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
STANFORD, Calif. – Day three of the ITA Northwest Regional saw Katerina Stloukalova and Abbey Watanabe reach the quarterfinals before falling at Taube Family Tennis Stadium on Saturday.
The Bulldogs' doubles team advanced to the quarters with an 8-6 win during the morning against Mountain West foe San Jose State's team of Sybille Gauvain and Miyo Kobayashi. The 'Dogs though dropped their second match of the day to Stanford's fifth-seeded team of Emily Arbuthnott and Michaela Gordon, 8-1.
In consolation matches, the Bulldogs went 4-2 in singles and were 1-0 in doubles.
