'Dogs finish ITA All-American Championship

TULSA, Okla. – The Fresno State men's tennis team finished doubles play in the Saint Francis Medical System ITA All-American Championships. Mantas Bugailiskis and Xander Veys were selected from Fresno State to play in the Qualifying Doubles draw.
The Qualifying Doubles draw was made up of 64 doubles teams. The teams had to win three rounds to advance to the Main Draw.
Bugailiskis and Veys defeated Ammar Alhoqbani and Matthew Lord of Virginia 7-5, 6-4 in the Round of 32. The duo fell to Nuno Borges and Strahinja Rakic of Mississippi State in the Round of 16 7-6(5), 6-3.
The 'Dogs come away with a combined seven wins from their first ITA tournament of the year.
WHAT'S NEXT – Fresno State will compete in the UCSB Fall Invitational Oct. 6-8.
