'Dogs host Aggies in midweek match

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State men's tennis team will return home to host UC Davis Wednesday, March 1 at 2 p.m. PT in the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center.
The match between these two squads was originally set for Jan. 21 but was postponed due to weather.
Bulldogs are coming off of two close matches with 4-3 wins over Loyola Marymount and Arizona last weekend.
Fresno State leads the overall series with UC Davis 8-0. The last meeting between the Bulldogs and Aggies was March 8, 2014, when Fresno State bested UC Davis 5-2.
Fresno State is led by their singles play, three Bulldogs have five dual wins this season including Mantas Bugailiskis, Youssef Hassan and Xander Veys.
Earning the doubles point has been a toss-up for the 'Dogs this season, they are 5-5 on the season in winning the doubles point.
Senior Euan McIntosh has led Fresno State in doubles this season, playing at the No. 1 position with various partners, he has posted a 5-3 record.
Scouting the Aggies
UC Davis has a 5-4 record on the season, coming off a 4-1 loss against No. 7 Cal.
The Aggies are 4-4 on the road and 1-0 when facing Mountain West opponents. UC Davis defeated San Diego State 4-3 earlier this season.
UC Davis shines in doubles
The Aggies are 8-1 this season in winning the doubles point.
The only match UC Davis dropped the doubles point was in its match against No. 10 USC.
The Aggies most notable doubles point win this season was when they swept No. 7 Cal.
Max Pham remains consistent
The freshman has the best dual record on the team this season at 5-2, played primarily at the No. 6 position.
Pham is 5-0 in his last five matches.
Pham logged a notable win over No. 10 USC's Henry Ji in straight sets (6-3, 6-4).
