Arruda along with Arizona's JJ Matijevic were the first baseman on the First Team as Arruda put together a stellar junior season. The Clovis native led the Mountain West in hits (91) and total bases (157) while finishing second in the league in RBIs (67) and home runs (15). A two-time First-Team All-Mountain West selection at first base, Arruda tied for third in the MW in batting average (.373), ranked sixth in slugging percentage (.643), seventh in on-base percentage (.448), ninth in runs (57) and tied for 11th in doubles (17).
