2017 (Junior): Arruda earned his second straight All-Mountain West selection as a junior... he started all 60 games on the season at first base and led the team in batting average (.373), hits (91), home runs (15), RBIs (67), total bases (157), on-base percentage (.448), slugging percentage (.643) and fielding percentage (.993)... totaled a season-high 33 multi-hit games on the season... added 15 multi-RBI contests on the season... matched the single-game program records for home runs with three and RBIs with nine at Nevada (April 23)... set career-highs scoring four runs and tallying four hits at Nevada (April 23)... had a career-high eight at-bats against UC Riverside (Feb. 24)... led the Mountain West with 91 hits and 157 total bases... finished second in the Mountain West in RBIs (67) and home runs (15), tied for third in batting average (.373), sixth in slugging percentage (.643), seventh in on-base percentage (.448), ninth in runs (57), tied for 11th in doubles (17).
2016 (Sophomore): Arruda earned first-team All-Mountain West honors as a sophomore... appeared in 54 games making 41 starts with 35 at first base and six at designated hitter... ranked fifth on the club with a .320 average from the dish and finished second on the team with 62 hits... totaled 15 doubles and a team-high 11 home runs... had a team-leading 44 RBIs and totaled a team-best 12 multi-RBI games... scored 37 runs scoring in 32 contests... led the team with 110 total bases... tallied a .406 on-base percentage, .567 slugging percentage and a .987 fielding percentage... had six three-hit contests including smacking a double and home run along with four RBIs in an 11-10 win over Oakland... had a team-best 13-game hitting streak from Apr. 27 through May 19 hitting .396 over that stretch... finished the season on a 17-game on-base streak.
2015 (Freshman): Arruda appeared in 45 games for the Bulldogs in his inaugural season, including making 24 starts... started 20 games in right field and four at designated hitter... hit .248 from the plate with 26 hits in 105 at-bats... scored 14 runs and drove in 12 runs... added four doubles and one home run... tied for team-lead with seven hit by pitches... had a season-high two hits five times... went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored at Nevada (Feb. 21) and added two hits and scored two runs along with two RBIs at USC (Mar. 17).
High School: Three-year letterwinner in baseball for coach Tom Donald at Buchanan High ... also won a letter in football in 2013 ... teams won at least 20 games in all three seasons at Buchanan ... was a City-County All-Star in 2014.
