'Dogs to host Wolf Pack on Senior Day

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State men's tennis team will wrap up the regular season playing host to Nevada on Saturday, April 20 at 11 a.m. PT at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center. The Bulldogs will celebrate Senior Day, honoring the team's three seniors in Mantas Bugailiskis, Jeremy Moser and Patrik Pech.

QUICK LOOK AT THE 'DOGS
Fresno State (14-10, 4-2 MW) have locked in the No. 3 seed in the 2019 Mountain West Championship Tournament.
Match Notes:

Roster Overview – Fresno State returned six letterwinners from last season, including All-MW Singles team selection Zdenek Derkas and MW Freshman of the Year Cem Erturk.

2018 Review – Fresno State finished the 2018 season with an overall record of 19-12 (6-1 MW). The Bulldogs were undefeated at home with a perfect 11-0 record. Fresno State finished the regular season in second place, earning the No. 2 seed in the 2018 Mountain West Championship. The Bulldogs made a run for the title before falling to No. 1 Utah State in the championship match 4-1.
2019 MW Championship – Fresno State will host the 2019 Mountain West Championship at Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center April 25-27. Single session tickets for Thursday, Friday and Saturday are $10 for adults and $5 for children. All-session tickets/wristbands are $20 for adults and $10 for children. Tickets will begin being sold one hour prior to the start of competition each day. There will be free admission for Fresno State students.
SCOUTING THE WOLF PACK
Nevada is 10-9 (2-4 MW) this season.
Team Notes:
- Nevada is 1-6 on the road.
- Nevada is coming off a 2-1 week, posting wins over Boise State (4-2) and Sonoma State (4-1) before falling to Utah State (4-0).
- Nevada has struggled in singles during conference play, opponents have recorded a 14-9 advantage over the Wolf Pack. Nevada is slightly below .500 in doubles play with 6-7 record in conference play.
The Wolf Pack duo of Julien Evrard and Kostya Nesterenko has chalked a 12-5 record at the No. 1 position this spring, and a 4-1 record in conference play.
