Five Bulldogs in FloWrestling preseason rankings

FRESNO, Calif. - FloWrestling released its preseason rankings on Tuesday as five Bulldogs were ranked in the top 25 in their respective weight classes.
Similar to WIN Magazine, who released its preseason rankings on Sept. 11, the same five 'Dogs were again in the rankings.Â
Returning all five NCAA Championship qualifiers from a year ago, senior Josh Hokit leads the way checking in sixth at 197 pounds after placing fifth at the 2019 NCAA Championships.
Junior heavyweight AJ Nevills and redshirt senior 149-pounder Khristian Olivas are each ranked 16th in their respective weight classes as both have made two appearances at the NCAA Championships.
Rounding out the ranked 'Dogs are redshirt sophomore Jackson Hemauer who checks in 18th at 184 pounds and 133-pound redshirt sophomore Gary Joint who ranks 23rd.
FloWrestling also came out with its top 25 preseason team rankings with four Bulldog opponents in the top 25 as Wisconsin (Nov. 1) checks in No. 5 followed by Iowa State (Jan. 31) at No. 13, Oklahoma (Feb. 23) at No. 19 and Illinois (Feb. 21) at No. 24.
