The last time the two squads met, the Bulldogs defeated the Roadrunners 3-0 on Sept. 3, 2017. Fresno State owns the all-time record between the squads 7-2-2. The Bulldogs have never lost to the Roadrunners at home, owning a 6-0-1 advantage while playing in Fresno, Calif.

The Bulldogs finished the 2018 season with an overall record of 6-10-4 (5-3-3 MW). Fresno State recorded its best conference record since 2013, advancing to the postseason tournament for the second consecutive season.
