While Fresno State entered 2020 with a 1-4 record on the year when trailing at the half, the Bulldogs have quickly changed that in conference play. Fresno State has trailed in each of its last three games but has won all three.

With 691 career points entering this season, Maddi Utti closing in on becoming the 25th Fresno State player to reach 1,000 points. The junior is currently 11 shy of the career milestone.
- Utti's numbers have progressively gotten better throughout her career, averaging 9.3 as a freshman and 12.3 as a sophomore but the biggest jump has come this year as the junior is posting a team-high 17.9.

Ordering up double-doubles                                                                                       Â
After picking up seven double-doubles during conference play a season ago, Maddi Utti posted her first of the 2019-20 season at Portland on Nov. 17 with an impressive 29-point, 11-rebound performance in front of a pro-Utti crowd for the Seaside, Oregon native. But with only one more in the ensuing month-and-a-half, the junior has broken out for three in the last three games, first recording 18 points and 15 rebounds at San Jose State on Jan. 4. Five days later she posted 28 points to go with a career-best 17 rebounds versus New Mexico. Utti followed that up in the next game with another 17 rebounds to go with 11 points.
- Utti ranks eighth on the Fresno State all-time list for career double-doubles with 17, one back of seventh.
- Utti entered the 2019-20 season with the most career double-doubles of active players in the Mountain West.
- Utti is 1 of 5 players in the MW to post at least five double-doubles this season.

With back-to-back 20-point outings for Haley Cavinder, scoring the majority of those points in the second halves of comeback wins, the 5-foot-6 guard pushed her total to six for the year. That is the most 20-point games by a Bulldog freshman with the program's all-time leading scorer, Jaleesa Ross, who had six during the 2007-08 season.
- Cavinder's sister, Hanna, currently sits one back of Ross and Haley.

- Fresno State remains atop the Mountain West standings at 6-0 following a 65-60 win at San Diego State on Wednesday. It was the Bulldogs first win this season when being held below 70 points.
