This year marks the third time in eight seasons in the Mountain West that Fresno State opened conference play 8-0 (2015, 2016, 2020) with all three coming under Jaime White. The 'Dogs opened MW play with nine straight wins in 2015 and eight in 2016.

Fresno State is currently leading the Mountain West with a seven-game win streak. It is the tied for the 11th-longest streak in program history.

Offensive show
With an offense that has not averaged north of 70 since 2014, this season's Bulldogs look to far exceed the averages of the previous five seasons. Averaging nearly nine points better than last year, Fresno State ranks second in the Mountain West and No. 20 in the NCAA in scoring offense at 77.0 points per game.Â
- The Bulldogs' current average is 1.1 points better than the program record set during the 2010-11 season.
- The 'Dogs are leading the league in scoring margin, outscoring opponents by 12.1 per game overall, 4.8 better than the next team.

The Bulldogs have proved to be successful when their starters are producing. That has included nine of their 15 wins coming when their top three scorers have been the trio of Haley Cavinder, Hanna Cavinder and Maddi Utti. Led by those three, Fresno State is 14-0 when its starting five has outscored its opponents' five, while going 1-4 when its group has been outscored.
- Fresno State is 5-0 when at least four of its starters reach double figures. Four of those have come in the last six games.

Sure-handed   Â
Fresno State has had some of the surest hands on the ball this season, ranking fourth in the NCAA in turnovers, averaging 11.4 per game. The 'Dogs are currently on pace to set a record for a new program low as the current record stands at 13.65.
- With three guards in the starting lineup who have run the point at one time or another this season, the 'Dogs expected to be below the 14.3 turnovers that they averaged a season ago. They have exceeded that number just twice through 19 games while committing less than 10 on six occasions.
- The Bulldogs have committed 10 or less turnovers in each of the last three games.

Crashing the glass        Â
Following a its worst rebounding disparity this season at Santa Clara on Dec. 21 (-15), Fresno State has won the battle on the glass in five of its last seven games. Against San Jose State and New Mexico, the Bulldogs grabbed more than 50, the first and second-highest totals (57 and 59) this season. During their last two games, the 'Dogs outrebounded Wyoming (+14) and Colorado State (+13) by double digits.

- Maddi Utti is averaging a team-high 15.6 during the last five games.

Veteran leadership                                                                                             Â
After missing from the court for three weeks during December, Aly Gamez has been a steady presence for a young Bulldog backcourt, dishing out a team-best 32 assists (5.3 apg) in the last six games. The junior has also been known to have a flair for the dramatics. On Jan. 22, Gamez hit the second buzzer beater of her career, dropping in a floater against Colorado State.
- An X-factor this season after being the Bulldogs' No. 3 option last year, the Bulldogs are 7-0 this season when Gamez reaches double figures scoring.
- Since returning to the starting lineup on Jan. 1, Gamez has a 2.9 assist-to-turnover ratio (32-11).

Shining in her moments                                                                                                 Â
Every player on a bench has a role, for Kendyll Kinzer, the freshman has seen her playing time increase in recent weeks due to her length on defense and the ability knock down shots from deep at high rate. During the Bulldogs' first 16 games, the 6-foot-1 forward from Lewiston, Idaho had made 10 3-pointers in 31 attempts. In the last three games, Kinzer has is 8-of-15 behind the arc.Â
- Kinzer hit two of her three 3's at San Diego State during the fourth quarter in five-point win. A week later, with the 'Dogs sturggling to knock down shots in the first quarter against Colorado State, the freshman hit two 3-pointers to give Fresno State a 10-9 lead at the end of the quarter.
- Kinzer is averaing 8.4 points per game off the bench in the last four games, scoring nearly a half a point per minute on the floor (0.45).

- Through 19 games, Fresno State (15-4, 8-0 MW) holds its best record since Jaime White's first season with the Bulldogs. That year they stood at 16-3 and 8-0 in the Mountain West at this point of the season.
- This is the third year in six seasons under White that Fresno State has started conference play 8-0, the first time since 2016.
- In the last five games, the Bulldogs earned four of their closest wins of the season (2, 3, 5, 7). During the stretch, two of those wins saw the 'Dogs held well below their season average.
- Fresno State is averaging a program-best 77.0 points per game, which ranks No. 20 in the NCAA.
- The 'Dogs are 13-0 this season when scoring more than 70 points, yet is 2-4 when it does not reach 70. Both of their wins when below have come since Jan. 15.
- The Bulldogs rank No. 5 in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.48) and No. 4 in turnovers per game (11.4). Both numbers are on pace to break program records.
- Fresno State is one of four teams in the country to have three players average over 15 points per game (Fresno State, Oregon, UConn, Yale).
- Maddi Utti enters Saturday on a stretch of five straight games with a double-double, averaging 16.0 points and 15.6 rebounds per game during that span.
- Boise State enters Saturday's matchup with a 14-6 overall record and sit third in the Mountain West at 6-2.
