'Dogs open play at Blue Gray National Tennis Classic on Friday

FRESNO, Calif. -- Fresno State's men's tennis team is headed to Alabama to compete in the annual Blue/Gray National Tennis Classic. The Bulldogs are set to take on No. 20 Ole Miss for their first match, Friday at 10:30 a.m. PT.
The tournament itself is double elimination and has both a winner's and loser's bracket. Depending on a win or loss Fresno State will take on Princeton or Auburn in the second round.Â

SCOUTING THE REBELS
Ole Miss is currently 6-1 thus far, and sits at the No. 20 spot nationally. The Rebels hold wins over teams such as Illinois and Oklahoma State, which were both ranked nationally at the time. Their only loss came to No. 4 Michigan where they dropped the match 4-3. Â
Last time out - The Rebels last outing was a win against No. 21-ranked Oklahoma State 4-2.Â
Series history - This is Fresno State's first match with Ole Miss within the last decade.
