'Dogs to play two this week at UCSB and Cal Poly

FRESNO, Calif. -- Fresno State's men's tennis team is set to play two matches this week. The first takes place at UC Santa Barbara on Thursday at 1 p.m. PT, with the second at Cal Poly on Friday at 12 p.m.Â
The team currently sits at 1-2 on the season, coming off of a win against Temple at the ITA Kick-Off Weekend. Johannes Seeman was the lone Bulldog to go unbeaten in Florida, picking up a singles win against South Florida at the No. 3 position and doubles wins versus the Bulls and Owls with Cagatay Soke at the No. 1 spot.

SCOUTING THE GAUCHOS
UCSB currently sits at 2-4 thus far, and are led by senior Joseph Guillin who is currently ranked No. 8 in the country. The Gauchos have claimed their wins against UNC Wilmington and Loyola Marymount.Â
Last time out - UCSB's last competition was an away match against Pepperdine, in which they lost 4-3. The game was highlighted with a strong win by Guillin, who won at the No. 1 spot.
Series History - Fresno State has an extensive history with UCSB, dating back nearly two decades. In the last 14 matchups the Bulldogs are 9-5 against the Gauchos but have lost the last three matchups.Â
SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS
Cal Poly is Fresno State's second match of the week. The Mustangs are currently 1-3 on the season with their only win coming against Grand Canyon.Â
Last time out - Cal Poly's last time out was an away match against No. 25 Arizona. The team was swept by the Wildcats, 4-0.Â
Series History - Much like UCSB, Fresno State has an extensive history playing Cal Poly. In the last six matches the Bulldogs trail the Mustangs 4-2.Â
