SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Fresno State's men's tennis team won 4-3 at UC Santa Barbara on Thursday afternoon. The Bulldogs improve to 2-2 on the season and are set to play their next match tomorrow at 12 p.m. PT against Cal Poly in San Luis, Obispo.

Doubles
Fresno State started off the match with a point from doubles play. The first win came from the pairing of Johannes Seeman and Cagatay Soke, winning at the No. 1 spot, 6-2. The sealing win came with Alexey Aleschev and Henrique Osorio pairing up and winning 6-4 at the No. 3 spot.

Singles
The Bulldogs narrow win included wins at the bottom three spots. The first coming from Aleschev at the No. 4 spot, winning 6-2,7-5, over Joseph Rotheram. Following this win was Soke winning at the No. 5 spot 6-3, 6-2. Osorio clinched the win for the Bulldogs with a third-set tiebreaker at the No. 6 spot 3-6, 6-3, 7-6.

Fresno State's next match is tomorrow as the Bulldogs travel to Cal Poly to face the Mustangs at 12 p.m.
