On the week...
"It was a great week for the fellas. Two very hard-fought matches beating the top two teams in the Big West on the road. We showed a lot of grit and had a complete effort this week. Johannes and Cagatay had a very strong start this season leading us in doubles and helping to get that first point of both matches. Alexey had a great week winning all four of his matches and showing some great composure. Both teams we played are very well-coached and compete extremely hard."Â
Looking ahead after this week...
"These were two massive wins for us and they will help us sink our teeth into the season. We have a big home match versus Pepperdine next weekend."
