'Dogs head north for Golden Coast Invitational

FRESNO, Calif. -- Fresno State's men's tennis team heads to Sacramento for the Golden State Invitational this weekend. The Bulldogs will be taking on St. Mary's and Sacramento State amongst others entered in the tournament.
Fresno State enters the tournament with an 8-2 record overall and is riding a six-match winning streak.Â
The Field
Saint Mary's - The Gaels enter the tournament with a 1-5 record overall, with their lone win coming against UC Davis. The team is led by grad student Damon Kesaris who is ranked No. 23 nationally in singles play.Â
Sacramento State - As host of the tournament the Hornets enter with a 2-3 record overall, with wins against Nevada and St. Mary's.
MATCHUP TIMES
The 'Dogs begin tournament play Saturday afternoon with their first match against St. Mary's at 1 p.m. PT.Â
Their next match is set to take place on Sunday at 12 p.m. PT as they take on Sacramento State.Â
