- Fresno State leads the MW in wins, ERA, opposing batting average, hits, slugging percentage, runs scored, runs batted in, on base percentage, doubles, triples, batters struck out, total bases, total plate appearances, walks, hit by pitch and sacrifice flies.
- Hailey Dolcini leads the conference in ERA (0.97), opposing batting average (.163), batters struck out (178), batters struck out looking (55) and wins (15).
- Kaitlyn Jennings leads the MW in on base percentage (.484), runs scored (43), triples (5), hit by pitch (15), stolen bases (27), total plate appearances (126) and steal attempts (30). Jennings ranks No. 3 in batting average (.366).
- Keahilele Mattson leads the MW in slugging percentage (.697), runs batted in (31) and ranks No. 4 in home runs (7).
- Vanessa Hernandez leads the conference in walks (20).
Dealing Dolcini
- Hailey Dolcini was named to the USA Softball Collegiate Player Top 25 Finalist List.
- Dolcini owns a 15-3 record, including seven shutouts and two perfect games.Â
- Dolcini is a perfect 7-0 in conference play.
- Dolcini leads the conference in ERA (0.97), opposing batting average (.163), batters struck out (178), batters struck out looking (55) and wins (15).
- Dolcini owns a 0.68 ERA in conference play, and touts a perfect 7-0 record in conference play.Â
- Dolcini has recorded nine games with 11+ strikeouts.Â
- The senior recorded the 16th and 17th perfect games in program history.Â
- Dolcini tied the program record for most strikeouts in a 7 Inn. game with 18 in the 6-0 victory over New Mexico on April 2.Â
- Dolcini has earned five MW Pitcher of the Week honors this season.Â
Mountain West Favorite
- The nine Mountain West softball head coaches chose Fresno State as the preseason favorite to win the 2021 regular season.
- The vote was unanimous as the Bulldogs tallied all eight first place votes, as head coaches are not allowed to vote for their own team, to total 64 total points.
- UNLV was picked to finish second (52 points, 1 first place vote) and San Diego State locked in third place (49 points) to round out the top three positions. Boise State (41 points) and San Jose State (38) were picked to finish in the middle of the conference standings, followed by Colorado State, Nevada, Utah State and New Mexico.
- This marked the first time the Bulldogs have been selected to win the conference since 2017. The last time the Bulldogs won the Mountain West title was in 2016, after going 22-1 in conference play.
