The Dirtbags enter the week with a 10-8 overall mark coming off winning two of three at home in their Big West opening series against Hawai'i.
Long Beach State is hitting .263 from the plate to rank fifth in the Big West averaging 4.6 runs per game.
Selected to win the Big West in the preseason poll, the Dirtbags opened the season with a series win at Mississippi State and LBSU also has series wins over North Dakota State and Gonzaga.
The Dirtbags have been stellar on the mound leading the conference with a 2.94 team ERA and Long Beach has a 3.41 strikeout-to-walk ratio to rank 18th in the country.
