FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's basketball team heads to Las Vegas to begin the postseason at the Mountain West Championships at the Thomas & Mack Center beginning Sunday, Mar. 9. Fresno State will play the third game of the opening round on Sunday with tip-off set for 7 p.m. PT streaming live on the Mountain West Network.Â

Fresno State and San Jose State will meet for the second time at the MW Tournament and the 92nd time in program history. The last time the programs met at the tournament was in 2020, where Fresno State held the No. 1 seed and saw a championship appearance. 'Dogs defeated the Spartans, the four seed, in the semifinal game, 94-68.Â
