Bulldogs wrap up at two meets

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Fresno State track and field team wrapped up events at the Riverfront Invitational on Saturday.

A pair of Bulldogs set personal best times in the women's 3,000. Diana Cortes clocked a time of 10:41.51 and Ashley Villafana Rodriguez had a time of 11:02.02. Morgan Hutchison was close behind with a time of 11:04.77. All three Bulldogs finished in the Top 20.

In the mile, Emilia Lev had a time of 5:32.33 and Samantha Ebell had a time of 5:34.31.

LINCOLN, Neb. - Liz Tarczy took fourth in the high jump at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational on Saturday. Tarczy was the only Bulldog competing today. She saw a jump of 1.68m/5-6.

Fresno State will split up again next weekend, sending groups to Seattle for the Husky Classic and Reno for the Battle Born Classic. Next weekend will be the final tune-ups before the Mountain West Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Nevada on Feb. 26-28.
