2017 (Sophomore): Dodds played in seven games as a sophomore... he had six at-bats on the season recording one hit at New Mexico (Mar. 31) where he also scored his lone run of the season... drew a pair of walks.. made three assists from third base with one against Oregon (Feb. 19) and two against San Diego State (Mar. 25).
2016 (Freshman): Dodds appeared in 11 games as a freshman making one start at first base against Youngstown State (Feb. 28)... hit .133 from the plate with two hits with a double against YSU on Feb. 27... added a run scored and three RBIs... drew a pair of walks and was hit by a pitch.
High School: Attended Buchanan High School in Clovis, Calif., where he was a four-year letter winner in baseball... hit .386 from the dish as a senior smacking three home runs and earned first-team All-Valley and first-team Tri-River Athletic Conference honors... named third-team all-state by Cal-Hi Sports as a senior as the Bears posted a 29-4 record and was a 2014 Cal-Hi Sports first-team all-state underclassman... earned a 2015 North/South All-Star game participant... also competed at the 2014 Area Code games for the Oakland A's... was a three-time Marlins Scout Team Participant... ranked as the second-best high school third baseman in California by Perfect Game... tabbed as the 136th-best prep player in the country in the 2015 class and 21st in California... also recruited by UCSB, CS Fullerton, Long Beach State, Arizona, Iowa and UCLA.
