Declared for 2019 NFL Draft at the conclusion of the season: finished third-year as a Bulldog ranking No. 10 in program history in career tackles with 279 and racked up 258 of those over the 2017-18 seasons.
2018 (Junior): Named the 2018 Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year and an All-MW First-Team selection … started all 14 games at middle linebacker ... led the team with 132 tackles (72 solo) … his 132 tackles ranked tied for the 11th-most in the FBS … ranked fifth in the MW and 35th in the nation averaging 9.4 tackles per game despite exiting early in the first quarter to injury and logging no stats in the Bulldogs’ game at UNLV on Nov. 3 … posted a career-high 17 tackles against Nevada on Oct. 6 … led the team in tackles nine times during the season and tallied seven games with double-digit tackle outputs … had two interceptions, both coming in the third quarter against UCLA to help lead the Bulldogs to a 38-14 win over the Bruins … recorded 6.0 tackles for loss, and logged at least half-a-tackle for loss in nine games … logged three quarterback hurries ... named to the Fall Academic All-Mountain West team.
2017 (Sophomore): Named an All-Mountain West first-team selection ... started all 14 games at inside linebacker as a true sophomore ... led the team with 126 total tackles, which ranked 15th in the nation, 79 of which were solo tackles, ranking tied for seventh-most in the nation ... led the team and ranked 31st in the nation in tackles per game at 9.0 ... tallied 5.5 tackles for loss, sixth-most on the team ... one of eight ‘Dogs with multiple sacks totaling 2.0 for a loss of 13 yards ... forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles, and broke up three passes ... earned two Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week honors after standout performances at San Diego State (10 tackles) and at home vs. BYU (14 tackles, sack, fumble recovery).
2016 (Freshman): Played in all 12 games as a true freshman … finished with 21 tackles, including eight solo stops … in sixth career game, recorded a season-high seven tackles on Oct. 8 at Nevada … tallied 19 of 21 tackles through the first six games of the season … was on the receiving end of two pooch kickoffs in a contest vs. Air Force on Oct. 28, totaling 15 return yards and a long-return of eight yards... earned Academic All-Mountain West honors as well as Mountain West Scholar-Athlete honors.
High School: Selected by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution to its 2015 All-Metro City/South Fulton and its All-Region 3-AAAAAA first-teams ... posted 121 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, three sacks, two fumble recoveries and one interception his senior year ... registered 144 tackles as a junior when he led his team to a 9-3 record and the Class AAAAAA playoffs ... his 144 tackles in 2014 led the team on a roster that featured fellow linebacker D'Andre Walker, who signed an NLI with Georgia in 2015 ... also competed in track & field and was a member of his school's 4x100 relay team.
