2019 (Senior): Granted eligibility - medical.
2018 (Senior): Played in the season’s first four games before suffering a season-ending injury … logged seven tackles for the season … posted a season-high three tackles twice – the first season opener on Sept. 1 against Idaho and again on Sept. 29 versus Toledo.
2017 (Junior): Played in two games … suffered season-ending injury on Sept. 9 at No. 1 Alabama … did not record any statistics.
Prior to Fresno State: Appeared in 10 games in 2015 at Laney College collecting 53 tackles (41 solo, 12 assisted), 10.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, three forced fumbles, three interceptions and 11 pass breakups ... as a freshman in 2014, played in nine games where he tallied 54 total tackles (35 solo, 19 assisted) and added four tackles for loss, three interceptions and a fumble returned for a touchdown ... made 10 stops, seven solo, one tackle for loss and an interception in the Eagles' season finale contest at San Mateo.
Personal: Born in Oakland, Calif. … son of Heivaha and Fisiimoli Mafi …has nine siblings … brother Maamaloa is also on the Fresno State football roster … older brother Dyllon played at Laney CC before transferring to Oregon State … majoring in africana studies.
