2018 (Freshman): Wilson appeared in 10 games in relief as a freshman in 2018... tossed 9.2 innings... struck out six and walked four... threw a season-high two innings against CSUN (April 10)... struck out a season-best two against Michigan State (Feb. 18) & Long Beach State (March 29).
High School: Wilson was a four-year letter winner at La Mirada High School in La Mirada, Calif... earned All-Area honors as well as All-Suburban League First-Team outfield honors... was named team MVP and was a captain as a senior... as a senior in 2017, Wilson hit .360 from the dish with 36 hits, including 11 for extra-bases, and added 18 RBIs and 24 runs scored... hit an astounding .419 as a junior finishing with 36 hits in 86 at-bats and drove in 21 RBIs and scored 32 runs while smacking seven doubles.... also played football at La Mirada HS where he was a First-Team All-Area defensive back and helped lead the Matadores to the state championship.
Personal: Son of Kelly and Reed Wilson... has two older siblings, Blake and Taylor... brother, Blake is a senior who plays baseball at Division II Stanislaus State... choose Fresno State because they gave him an opportunity of a lifetime by allowing him to play college baseball... most admires his father who seems to be able to find a way to fix anything... born Feb. 26, 1999... undecided on major at Fresno State...
