2020 (Redshirt Freshman): Berry appeared in seven games in the 'Dogs COVID-19 shortened season ... recorded his first career hit as a Bulldog against UC Irvine (Feb. 16) ... drove in two RBI with one vs. UC Irvine (Feb. 16) & Columbia (March 1) ... also scored two runs with a run against UCI (Feb. 16) & Columbia (Feb. 28) ... finished with six at-bats ... drew two walks.
2019 (Freshman): Redshirted.
High School: Berry was a two-time letter winner at Acalanes High School in Lafayette, Calif... earned first-team All-Diablo-Foothill League as a senior and was named the offensive MVP leading AHS to a 16-9 overall record... also named first-team as a junior in 2017 and All-East Bay and helped the Dons to the NCS championship and a 26-2 record in 2016 as a sophomore.
Personal: Son of Tamara and Michael Berry... has a older sister, Taylor who played basketball at Santa Clara from 2014-18... born on Aug. 12, 1999 in Berkeley, Calif... intends to major in business at Fresno State.. enjoys playing golf and video games in his free time... favorite athlete is Michael Jordan since he was always an inspiration... favorite athlete thrill was winning the NCS championship as a sophomore and the team going 26-2... most admires his dad for introducing him to baseball and to his mom and sister for always being by his side... choose to attend Fresno State to earn his degree and win championships.
