2020 (Junior): Redshirted season after transferring from Texas.
Prior to Fresno State: O'Donnell arrives at Fresno State after spending his first two seasons at the University of Texas... pitched seven times in relief, logging eight total innings as a sophomore in 2019…struck out 14 and converted one save in his first appearance of the season at Louisiana on Feb. 16 pitching 2.1 innings and striking out a season-high four batters....as a freshman in 2018, O'Donnell finished with a 4.78 ERA and a 3-2 record in 12 games (seven starts)… tossed 30 strikeouts in 32.0 innings while allowing 22 walks & held opponents to a .252 average... allowed two runs on one hit and one hit batter on May 1 vs. Texas State…allowed one run on two hits and a walk while fanning four over 3.2 innings on April 24 vs. Houston…tossed two shutout innings on April 18 vs. Texas Southern…allowed four hits and a walk but struck out two…lasted just one-third of an inning on April 10 at Texas A&M…pitched 2.0 innings in relief on April 2 at Whataburger Field vs. Texas A&M - Corpus Christi…allowed a three-run homer on March 30 at K-State in 2.0 innings of work…went 3.0 innings on March 20 vs. No. 25 Sam Houston State, allowing one run but walking four and striking out five... went 5.1 innings on Feb. 27 against UTSA allowing one hit and struck out four in a 2-0 win.... helped Texas win the 2018 Big 12 regular season crown.
