2018 (Sophomore): Davis appeared in 15 games in relief on the mound as a sophomore... tossed 10.0 innings... notched six strikeouts and allowed six earned runs... posted a 5.40 ERA... had seven outings of one inning... struck out one in six games.
2017 (Freshman): Davis made nine relief appearances on the mound for the 'Dogs as a freshman... tossed 8.0 innings on the season allowing 13 hits and 14 runs... struck out six and issued 16 walks....threw a season-high 2.0 innings against Oregon (Feb. 19) striking out a season-best three against the Ducks... also tossed two innings against Cal Poly (March 28) allowing one hit while striking out a pair in a 12-8 win over the Mustangs.
High School: A 2016 graduate of Carter High School in Rialto, Calif., Davis was a four-year varsity member of the Lions... as a senior in 2016, Davis hit .347 from the plate and added 19 extra-base hits, 26 RBIs and scored 33 runs in 27 games... earned All-CIF First-Team honors as a junior in 2015 after hitting .393 with 10 doubles, three triples and four home runs along with 17 RBIs and scored 29 runs... was a All-CIF Citrus Belt League and First Team All-League selection as a sophomore in 2014 and was a Second-Team All-League selection as a freshman...was a 2015 Perfect Game Underclass All-American Honorable Mention and a North/South California Games South Participant... was a 2015 Scout Ball Team All-Star Team Participant, Tampa Bay Rays & Angels Elite Participant.. ranked among the Top 225 players in California by Perfect Game and the 40th-best outfielder.
Personal: Son of Lanette and Perry Davis II... has two brothers, Perry Davis III & Pryce and two sisters, Lapresha & Ellisha... enjoys swimming, hikings and traveling in his free time... biggest athletic thrill is leading off a CIF game with a home run against one of the better pitchers in the state... chose Fresno State because of the close knit community and it feels more like a family than a school... major at Fresno State is biology.
