2017 (Senior): Named an All-Mountain West second team selection … started all 14 games to cap Bulldog career with 38 consecutive starts … member of an offensive line unit that ranked third in the nation in sacks allowed, having allowed just 10 sacks all season, a clip of 0.71 per game … the unit ranked third in the nation in tackles for loss allowed, having allowed 46 TFLs, a rate of 3.29 TFLs allowed per game … the offensive line helped hold six opponents without a sack over the season’s 14 games while the maximum allowed was two, recorded by Alabama (Sept. 9) and Boise State (Dec. 2) ... the Fresno State offensive line didn’t allow a tackle for loss in a crucial 27-3 win over San Diego State, marking the first time a Fresno State O-line did not allow a tackle for loss in a game since Sept. 10, 2011 at Nebraska … the Bulldogs, who averaged 155.0 yards on the ground, ran for 2,170 yards on the season – the most since 2014.
2016 (Junior): Started all 12 games, first four games at left guard and final eight at center … with 24 straight starts dating back to sophomore season, enters 2017 leading the team with the most consecutive starts and owns the second-most career starts … helped lead a rushing attack that gained 1,394 yards on the ground, led by starting running back Dontel James’ 697 yards … blocked for a passing game that produced 2,557 yards through the air ... the starting line unit limited opponents to 2.58 sacks per game.
2015 (Sophomore): Played and started in all 12 games for the Bulldogs at left guard ... helped lead a rushing attack that gained 1,642 yards on the ground, 920 of which came from starting running back Marteze Waller ... part of front-five that was flagged for just 15 of the Bulldogs 59 penalties on the year, a squad that ranked No. 18 in the country for fewest penalties ... he personally was flagged for just three penalties -- all false starts -- on the season.
2014 (Freshman): Appeared in one game, the Sept. 20 victory over Southern Utah.
High School: Helped lead Cathedral Catholic High School to an 11-2 record and the San Diego Section Division I championship as a senior in 2013 playing for coach Sean Doyle ... was selected to the All-Eastern League team twice as an offensive lineman, named to the 2013 All-CIF San Diego Section first-team and was named the Cathedral Catholic Offensive Player of the Year as a senior ... helped lead the way for an offense that averaged 247.1 yards rushing per game and 356.3 total yards in 2013 ... was a three-year varsity letterman in football for the Dons ... was also a member of the San Diego Mustangs rugby team where he has been a three-year regional team qualifier ... in 2012 he was named to the 16 & under All-American team and a member of the 2012 National team ... he lists his biggest athletic thrill as singing the National Anthem in England while wearing red, white, and blue representing the United States on the 16 & under Rugby All-American team.
