High School: Two-sport athlete in high school – football and track and field … on the gridiron, earned a spot on the Class 3A All-North Region first-team at Churchill County HS and was named to the Nevadapreps.com All-State second-team defense after appearing in 11 games as a senior ... led the Northern League with eight sacks and ranked second in the conference in tackles for a loss (18) – registered 73 tackles (60 solo) and added four pass breakups, three quarterback hurries, two fumble recoveries and an interception to senior stat line … member of state championship team as a junior and was named the defensive player of the year as he led Northern 3A in sacks with 10 … career stats at Churchill County were 212 tackles, 55 tackles for a loss and 21 sacks … was a discus thrower for the track team – furthest throw was 181’-11”.
