- As a senior in 2021, he helped the team to an 11-2 record with a state championship appearance.
- Chandler HS ranked as the No. 3 high school football program in the state of Arizona in 2021.
- He was a three-year member of varsity. Holmes totaled 144 tackles (66 solo) and 29.0 tackles for loss in his varsity career. He also added 8.0 sacks, three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.
- In only three games played in 2020, he impressed with 23 tackles (18 solo) and 11 tackles for loss in that shortened season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Began his high school football career at Cesar Chavez High School before transferring to Chandler High School as a senior.
