2018 (Senior): Started all 14 games for the Bulldogs at outside linebacker, capping career making 40 consecutive starts … recorded 80 total tackles, 45 solo and 35 assisted … registered 3.0 sacks, 11.5 tackles for loss, one interception, four broken up passes and one fumble recovery in 2018 … was fifth on the team in total tackles … averaged 5.7 tackles per game … ranked 19th in the Mountain West in tackles per game by a linebacker … was one of two Bulldogs with double-digit TFLs coming in second behind Mykal Walker’s 14.0 ... had a career-high 10 tackles and a career-high 2.5 TFLs at Nevada on Oct. 6 … had at least one tackle in each of the 14 games this season … grabbed an interception in the Bulldogs’ season opener against Idaho on Sept. 1 … had a fumble recovery in Fresno State’s 38-14 win at UCLA on Sept. 15.
2017 (Junior): Started all 14 games at outside linebacker in 2017 to extend his consecutive starts streak to 26 ... ranked tied for fourth on the team with 71 tackles ... added 4.5 tackles for loss ... also notched two pass breakups and a forced fumble ... one of two ‘Dogs to block a field goal (vs. Nevada on Sept. 30) ... had a season-high nine tackles, seven solo, in the Bulldogs’ 31-21 win at Hawai’i on Nov. 11 ... finished with eight tackles in three other contests (Nevada, BYU & Boise State).
2016 (Sophomore): Started all 12 games at outside linebacker … finished the season with 59 tackles and 5.0 tackles for a loss … will stand tied as the team’s returning tackles leader (59) for the 2017 season with teammate DeShawn Potts after tying for the third-most stops on the team as a sophomore … posted at least six tackles in six respective games … single-game season-high for tackles was eight vs. Sacramento State on Sept. 10 … netted career-first quarterback sack (half-a-sack) and career-high 1.5 tackles for a loss against Tulsa on Sept. 24 … posted a fumble recovery after Nela Otukolo recorded a force vs. Air Force on Oct. 28 … tallied four pass breakups, including three in a single-game against UNLV on Oct. 1.
2015 (Freshman): Played in all 12 games and made three starts at outside linebacker during his true freshman season … his 47 tackles were the most by any Bulldog true freshmen since linebacker Kevin Adams also posted 47 stops as a true freshman in 1995 … tied for seventh on the team in tackles … ranked No. 5 among true freshmen in the Mountain West in tackles … also posted 2.0 tackles for a loss, one fumble recovery that came in the San Jose State game, two pass breakups and one quarterback hurry … posted nine tackles on Sept. 26 at San Jose State, which were the most by any Bulldog freshman since Ben Jacobs had 16 tackles at No. 23 Texas A&M in 2007 … drew his first career start on Oct. 16 vs. UNLV and had seven tackles in the win … recorded at least one tackle in every game and had four games with six or more stops.
High School: First-team All-District 14-6A selection at outside linebacker by the Austin Statesman ... second-team All-CenTex selection ... named to the 2014 Texas Associated Press Sports Editors Class 6A honorable mention team ... in 12 games in 2014 he recorded 79 tackles and 11.0 tackles for a loss, leading his team to a 10-2 record ... also posted 70 tackles and 12.0 tackles for a loss as a junior when Lake Travis High School went 14-2 and 79 tackles as a sophomore in a 10-2 season ... had seven sacks in high school career - the most in one season was four as a junior ... garnered honorable mention all-state accolades as a junior ... earned first-team all-district honors three times in his career ... also lettered in basketball and track in high school.
