2019 (Senior): Was an All-Mountain West honorable mention defensive back … played in all 12 games for the Bulldogs … started all games as a senior … was third on the team with 80 tackles (47 solo) this season … had a single season career-best 80 tackles as a senior … opened the season by tying his career-high 11 total tackles at USC (Aug. 31) … had two 10 tackles games in 2019 … had one interception returned for 32 yards vs. UNLV (Oct. 18) and another interception a week later against Colorado State (Oct. 26) … tied atop the team standings with two interceptions and was second on the team in interception return yards … also recorded eight broken up passes … was a senior team captain.
2018 (Junior): Named an All-Mountain West Second-Team selection … started all 14 games at strong safety for the Bulldogs ... finished the regular season with four interceptions for a total of 65 return yards … three picks came during conference play (Nevada, Hawai’i, Boise State) while the fourth was in the Las Vegas Bowl against Arizona State on Dec. 15 … the four interceptions tied for the most in the MW, which included being tied with teammate Tank Kelly … had eight pass break ups … tied for the fifth-most passes defended in the MW with 12 … logged the sixth-most tackles on the team with 78 stops (40 solo) … led the team in tackles twice – posted 11 on Nov. 3 at UNLV and nine on Nov. 17 against San Diego State … matched a career-high in tackles with 11 in the Bulldogs’ 48-3 win over UNLV on Nov. 3.
2017 (Sophomore): Named an All-Mountain West honorable mention selection … started all 14 games as a sophomore … ranked tied for fourth on the team with 71 total tackles … ranked third on the defense in solo stops with 54 … owned seven pass breakups to go along with one interception, and one forced fumble, one fumble recovered and one quarterback hurry … ranked fifth on the team with 7.0 tackles for loss … earned MW Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 9 after recording his first-career interception and 2.0 tackles for loss, a sack, forced fumble and a quarterback hurry in Fresno State’s win over San Jose State on Oct. 7 … compiled a season-best 11 tackles and 2.0 tackles for loss in Fresno State’s 28-0 shutout win over New Mexico on Oct. 14 - marking the Bulldogs’ first-ever shutout of a Mountain West opponent.
2016 (Freshman): Played in all 12 games as a true freshman, seeing primary action on special teams before earning playing time in the secondary during the latter half of the season … finished with 18 tackles and 1.5 tackles for a loss … recorded all 1.5 TFLs in match up vs. Air Force on Oct. 28 … posted a season-high six tackles at Colorado State on Nov. 5 after netting five tackles the week before against Air Force … after not recording a tackle in the first five games, posted at least one tackle in the final seven games … credited with an 11-yard punt return following a blocked punt by Deshawn Potts in second quarter of a matchup at UNLV on Oct. 1.
High School: Named to the Fresno Bee's Fab 50 Football All-Stars team ... helped lead Hanford High School to back-to-back Central Section titles under coach Josh Young, compiling a 26-2 record over his junior and senior season ... won the CIF's Division-IV-AA state title by defeating Bonita Vista-Chula Vista 33-21 in the title game ... played defensive back, receiver and returner for Hanford ... while he missed six games this past season with a broken arm, he returned and caught eight passes for 175 yards, including a 77-yard touchdown, in the D-IV-AA title game victory.
