PRIOR TO FRESNO STATE: Attended Monterey Peninsula College … 2023 Region 2 All-State selection … also an all-conference pick … in his sophomore season at Monterey Peninsula College, totaled 26 receptions for 565 yards and eight touchdowns … averaged 21.7 yards per catch in 2023 … in his junior college career, he had 887 yards and 14 touchdowns on 35 receptions … National Honors Society … was a mid-year addition at Fresno State (Jan. 2024).
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Saginaw High School … was a star basketball athlete and not focusing on football until late in his HS career … was an all-state and all-conference selection in basketball.
PERSONAL: From Saginaw, Michigan … son of Karim McCune Sr. and Ta-tanesha Dilliard … has two older siblings, and one younger … also has a daughter … favorite athlete is Davante Adams … lists his biggest athletic thrill as scoring the game-winning touchdown in championship game at MPC … had recruiting interest from UNLV and San Jose State … chose to attend Fresno State because it is a family environment and he loved the Bulldog culture and community ... majoring in mass communications and journalism with an emphasis in film amd media art.
