PERSONAL: Born in Killeen, Texas ... son of Ray Sharpe of Allen, Texas ... has a brother, Jaylen, and a sister, Kaelyn … earned his degree in communication studies with a minor in general business from Missouri State … working towards his master’s in education and curriculum at Fresno State … chose to attend Fresno State because it had a sense of home. The coaching staff has a history of winning, and have coached athletes similar to him to showcase their talents. He also liked John Baxter’s success on special teams, and Andy Ward’s efforts in the weight room. Fresno offers him the opportunity to connect with the community and be able to network outside of football as well. Ultimately, him and his family felt that Fresno State was a place that he could make a name for himself and make it to the NFL with the success Fresno State has had with putting receivers in the League.
