2024 (SENIOR): Appeared in all 13 games … started in five games … totaled 43 tackles … had 22 solo tackles … added one forced fumble, two pass breakups and 2.0 TFL … had a blocked punt against NIU in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl … had at least one tackle in all but one game this season … had a season-high six stops three times - vs New Mexico State (Sept. 14), at Air Force (Nov. 9) and against Colorado State (Nov. 23) … tied for the team-high in tackles against New Mexico State … had a forced fumble against Sacramento State (Sept. 7) … was a special teams contributor as well as a rotational player on defense … was a game captain against Colorado State … CSC Academic All-District ... 2021 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in all 13 games on the season, and got the start at safety at Wyoming (Oct. 16) … registered 13 tackles on the season, nine solo … had a season-high four tackles against Nevada (Oct. 23) … had at least one tackle in seven games … had three multi-tackle games … had a tackle for loss against Cal Poly (Sept. 11) … played safety and was a member of the kickoff unit … helped Fresno State to two wins over ranked opponents, both on the road. It was the first time Fresno State defeated two Top 25 opponents in a season for the first time since 2004, and the first time both wins came on the road in the 100 year history of the program.

“We are signing him as an athlete because he is a guy we can see doing a ton of stuff on the field. He is a very high character kid from a great family. We see him in a lot of spots out there for us. Kosi is a good football player, and he is right in our backyard. We were not going to let him slip.”

HIGH SCHOOL: Recruited by the Bulldogs as an “athlete” after playing both sides of the ball at Sanger High School ... helped lead the Apaches to a 7-4 record and an appearance in the first round of the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Playoffs ... had 90 carries for 1,054 yards and 17 touchdowns, and seven receptions for 130 yards and one touchdown as a senior in 2019 ...
