2019 (Junior): Appeared in three games before suffering a season-ending injury … started against USC, Minnesota and Sacramento State … was voted a team captain at the beginning of the season ... declared for the 2020 NFL Draft at the concllusion of the season.
2018 (Sophomore): Started the first two games of the season at left tackle before suffering a season-ending injury during the second half of the Sept. 8 contest at Minnesota ... named to preseason Polynesian College Football Player of the Year watch list.
2017 (Redshirt Freshman): All-Mountain West honorable mention selection … started all 14 games … member of an offensive line unit that ranked third in the nation in sacks allowed, having allowed just 10 sacks all season, a clip of 0.71 per game … the unit ranked third in the nation in tackles for loss allowed, having allowed 46 TFLs, a rate of 3.29 TFLs allowed per game … the offensive line helped hold six opponents without a sack over the season’s 14 games while the maximum allowed was two, recorded by Alabama (Sept. 9) and Boise State (Dec. 2) ... the Fresno State offensive line didn’t allow a tackle for loss in a crucial 27-3 win over San Diego State, marking the first time a Fresno State O-line did not allow a tackle for loss in a game since Sept. 10, 2011 at Nebraska … the Bulldogs, who averaged 155.0 yards on the ground, ran for 2,170 yards on the season – the most since 2014.
2016 (Freshman): Redshirted.
High School: Was a two-way lineman for Leilehua HS, playing both left tackle and left guard on offense, while appearing as nose guard and end on defense … earned second-team ScoringLive all-Hawaii Division I honors as an offensive lineman and second-team American Family Insurance ALL-USA Hawai’i honors as a defensive lineman, as well as first-team all-O’ahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) Red honors as a defensive lineman and second-team accolades as an offensive lineman.
Personal: Born in the Polynesian sovereign state, Tonga, in the South Pacific … son of Semisi (Dad) and Liliani (Mom) … has four siblings – Abigail, Anna, Ma’ake and Manamo’ui … his older brother Ma’ake is a member of the Azusa Pacific football team … majoring in art at Fresno State.
