High School: Was a four-year letter winner in baseball at Bishop Diego High School in Santa Barbara, Calif., playing both infield and outfield... earned All-City MVP honors and was named the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Baseball Player of the Year as a senior hitting .435 from the plate with nine home runs, six doubles, 22 runs scored, 26 RBI, a .603 on-base percentage and a 1.130 slugging percentage....named to the 2014 Perfect Game/EvoShield All-Tournament Team along with the 2014 Under Armour Southwest Championship All-Tournament Team... was also a participant in the MLB Scouts Association North-South Game as part of the North team... was a member of the SoCal Halos Scout Team from 2012-14 and hit .452 in 31 games for the Halos during the summer/fall of 2014... also lettered two years in football at BDHS and was a school ambassador in 2013-14.
