Prior to Fresno State: Pitched for two years at Glendale Community College and head coach Chris Cicuto throwing 16 strikeouts in 10.2 innings of work in 2015.
High School: Earned four letters as a pitcher/ third baseman playing for Venice High School in Los Angeles... in his final three seasons as a Gondolier, he hit .345 with 50 hits, 27 runs scored, 16 RBI and six doubles.
Personal: Born in Santa Monica, Calif... son of Darren Hoag and Lourdes Padron... Has one sibling, Tabitha... communications major at Fresno State... chose Fresno State to earn a degree and play baseball... in his free time, enjoys riding dirt bikes, driving classic cars and anything that goes fast.
