High School: Three-sport athlete at Madera High School earning three letters in baseball and four apiece in football and wrestling... named the County Metro Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year twice... posted a 7-0 record with a 1.18 ERA as a senior in 2015 & earned first-team All-League on the diamond in 2014... on the football field, was named the Madera HS MVP along with the CMAC Specialist of the Year in 2013... on the wrestling mat, he compiled a 150-15 career record and was a three-time California state placer notching sixth, fifth and third-place finishes in his final three years.... was also a 2014 First-Team All-Bee selection and was also the 2013 Reno Worlds National Champion in wrestling.
Personal: Son of Andrew Gamboa and Lisa Mask... has four siblings, Buddy, Tyler, Anthony and Sabrina... business management major at Fresno State... wants to become a real estate broker... choose Fresno State because it was close to home and the players and coaches welcomed him as if he was family... also recruited by San Jose State, Washington State, UC Santa Barbara for baseball along with Cal Poly in wrestling.
