Heidi Gjoen Named GoBulldogs.com Athlete of the Week

Jaleesa Ross has been named the Gobulldogs.com Athlete of the Week for the week of March 9. Ross guided the Bulldogs to a 2-1 week and to their second straight WAC championship by averaging 14.7 points and shooting 52 percent from the field (16-31) and 47 percent from the 3- point line (7-15). She also averaged six rebounds and tallied 11 assists in the three games. In Saturday's win at Utah State she had 11 points, six assists and eight rebounds. In a 17-point win over New Mexico State she had 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field, 5-of-6 from the 3-point line and five steals.
