Rikus de Villiers a senior from Durban, South Africa helped Fresno State achieve its 3-0 WAC record from last week's wins over No. 56 Hawai'i (5-2), No. 54 Idaho (4-3) and Utah State (4-0). In singles, we went 2-1 on the week including a victory over No. 122 Dennis Lajola of Hawai'i, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 and two straight-set wins over Utah State's Sven Poslusny and Idaho's Marius Cirstea. In doubles, he and partner Remi Boutillier are currently ranked No. 17 and went 3-0 in the weekend and have won eight of their nine matches.He was also named the Verizon Western Athletic Conference Tennis Player of the Week for April 4-10. This was de Villiers second WAC Tennis Player of the Week honor in the 2010-11 season. 2010-11 Athletes of the Week:
