• Junior Bego Faz Davalos ranks in the top 10 in the NCAA in four stat categories. The 6-foot-3 center ranks second in the country in total blocks (52), fourth in blocked shots per game (3.7) third in triple-doubles (1), fifth in triple-doubles (9). She also ranks 16th in rebounds per game (10.4) and defensive rebounds per game (7.0), and 20th in total rebounds (146).
• Faz Davalos is one of 21 players in the NCAA to average at least 14 points and 10 rebounds.
• Faz Davalos leads the Bulldogs in points (14.4), rebounds (10.4), assists (2.6), blocks (3.7) and steals (1.6) per game.
• Sophomore Candice White leads the team in steals (1.7) and is second in points (13.9) and rebounds (5.5) per game.
• Fresno State is 22nd nationally in least committed fouls. The 'Dogs commit just 14.3 personal fouls per game.
• The Bulldogs are 8-0 this season when scoring at least 60 points.

• Fresno State holds a 55-20 edge over San Jose State in the all-time series.

• Last year's loss to SJSU in Fresno, Calif., was the 'Dogs first at home to Spartans since Feb. 22, 2002.

• San Jose State enters Saturday's game with a 4-10 record.

• Offensively, the Spartans rank fourth in scoring offense in the Mountain West at 70.1 points per game, but defensively are 11th as they allow 80.1.
• SJSU averages 8.2 made 3-pointers per game.
• Last year's Mountain West Newcomer of the Year, Dezz Ramos is back for her senior year and paces the Spartans' offense as she leads the league with 21.6 points per game. She is also dishing out 5.4 assists per game.
• In conference play, Ramos is averaging 37.0 points per game after dropping a career-high 40 in the MW opener against Nevada.
• Jasmine Smith is averaging a team-high 8.3 points per game and is second in scoring at 11.0 points per game.
• In conference play, Smith (15.5 ppg, 12.5 rpg) and Myzhanique Ladd (10.0 ppg and 11.0 rpg) are both averaging double
Chasing 60
• With the strength of Jaime White's teams being on the defensive side of the ball, a benchmark for its offense has been to score 60 points. Under White, Fresno State has won 74.0 percent of those games (37-13). The Bulldogs' record when scoring between 60-69 points is 23-10.
• This season, the 'Dogs have won each of its games when scoring more than 60 points (8-0).
Holding teams down
• The Bulldogs have held its opponents to 60 points or less in six of its eight wins.
• Only two teams have scored more than 70 points against the 'Dogs this season (Washington, 85; New Mexico 80). Fresno State allowed four teams to score at least 80 points during the 2015-16 season. All four games resulted in losses. Washington scored the most of any Bulldog opponent that season (89).
Rarity of 80
• In the conference opener against New Mexico, Fresno State allowed at least 80 points to a conference opponent for the first time since the 2013-14 season when the Bulldogs gave up 80 to San Jose State in 107-80 victory.
• That season, the Bulldogs allowed at least 80 points twice to Mountain West opponents, giving up 87 on the road at Wyoming in an 87-76 loss.
• Fresno State has allowed at least 80 points to MW opponents in only three games since it joined the league during the 2012-13 season.
Winning away from home
• Fresno State has been at its best this year when playing away from the Save Mart Center. The Bulldogs have posted a 5-2 record this season when playing outside of Fresno with one of those losses at then-No. 13 Washington.
• The Bulldogs four losses at home this season (3-4) is tied for its most since the opening of the Save Mart Center 2003.
Same player, new year
• It may be another year but junior Bego Faz Davalos hadn't seen a drop off from last year. Through 14 games, the center's numbers are on par or slightly up from last season as she is averaging 14.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.7 blocks, 2.6 assists and 1.6 steals.
• Faz Davalos leads the Bulldogs in points, rebounds, blocks, assists, and steals.
• She ranks fifth nationally in double-doubles with nine and ranks third in program history with 25.
• She has recorded at least four blocked shots in seven games this season.
• With nine double-doubles this season, she is five away from tying the single-season school record which she set during the 2015-16 season.
Time to shine
• After playing in 11 games as a freshman, and logging 6.3 minutes per game, Candice White leads team in minutes (33.4), is second in points (14.5) and rebounds (5.5).
• The sophomore leads the team in steals per game (1.6). White has swiped three or more steals in four games, including a career-high five against CSU Dominguez Hills.
• She has reached double figures in 10 of 14 games.
• White has recorded three of the team's top five scoring performances this season, including a career-high 25 points at Nevada and 21-point games versus UC Irvine and CSU Dominguez Hills.
• In conference, White is 14th in scoring (12.7), sixth in field goal percentage (.520), 13th in 3-point field goals made per game (1.7), eighth in 3-point percentage (.445) and second in minutes played (33.4).
Taking charity
• Prior to missing three free throws versus CSU Dominguez Hills, sophomore Candice White ranked fourth nationally in free-throw percentage. She is currently No. 12 at 91.1 percent (41-of-45).
• White opened the season with 18 consecutive free throws which is the most on record to start a season by a Bulldog dating back to the 1983-84 season. Records are not available prior to the 1983-84 season.
