• Fresno State and Hawai'i are set to square off for the 50th time in the history of the series. The Bulldogs lead the all-time series 26-22-1.
• Fresno State is bowl eligible for the 27th time in program history after defeating BYU 20-13 last time out for win No. 6.
• Jeff Tedford became the third head coach in the history of the program to lead Fresno State to a bowl game in year one - joining Tim DeRuyter (2012) and Alvin Pierson (1945).
• The Bulldogs, who have compiled a 6-3 record this year, have the nation's best win improvement (+5).
• Fresno State is in the drivers' seat to represent to West Division in the Mountain West Championship Game with three league games remaining; the 'Dogs are 4-1 in conference action and own the tie-breaker against San Diego State having defeated the Aztecs 27-3.
• Jeffrey Allison, named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, became the first Bulldog to earn two MW Defensive Player of the Week honors in the same season since All-American Phillip Thomas did so in 2012.
• Key Stat: The Bulldogs' rush defense ranks 18th in the FBS, surrendering 125.3 yards per game; UH RB Dicoemy Saint Juste ranks No. 7 in the FBS with 138.3 yards per game.
• Fresno State has won the turnover battle six times in 2017 and have five of its six wins in those games (5-1) with its last vs. BYU.
• Marcus McMaryion has 118 straight attempts since throwing his only interception of the season (in the third quarter against Nevada).
• On Nov. 2, sophomore Josh Hokit was announced as one of eight student-athletes from the Mountain West conference who were on the Burlsworth Trophy list.
