'Dogs to host Aztecs on Senior Day

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State will host Mountain West foe San Diego State on Sunday, April 15 at 12 p.m. PT, celebrating Senior Day. The Bulldogs take a 10-0 home record into the match.

The team will honor its two seniors, Youssef Hassan and Xander Veys. Senior Day festivities will begin at 11:45 a.m. PT. Admission and parking for the match are free of charge.

QUICK LOOK AT THE 'DOGS
Fresno State is 15-11 (4-1 MW) this season. The Bulldogs are currently in second place in the MW standings. Fresno State is coming off a 4-2 win over UNLV.

Youssef Hassan
As a four-year Bulldog, he has competed in 66 dual matches for Fresno State … he is a perfect 3-0 in dual matches this season, playing in multiple positions for the Bulldogs this season … he has been a doubles specialist for Fresno State this season, playing primarily at the No. 3 position … Hassan is a two-year Team Captain … three-time Academic All-Mountain West honoree.

SCOUTING THE AZTECS
San Diego State is 5-18 (3-3 MW) this season, 3-6 on the road. The Aztecs are coming off a 4-3 win over Nevada.

Rafael Gonzalez Almazan owns a team-best 10-8 dual record, playing primarily at the No. 5 position. San Diego State doesn't have a player with 20 or more wins this season. In doubles, Raul de la Torre and Jan Kirchoff have a team-best 4-4 dual record, playing primarily at the No. 2 position.
