'Dogs close the regular season at Nevada

RENO, Nev. – The Fresno State men's tennis team will play its last regular season match on the road, against Mountain West foe Nevada on Saturday, April 21 at 11 a.m. PT. The Bulldogs take a two-match winning streak into Saturday's contest.

QUICK LOOK AT THE 'DOGS
Fresno State is 16-11 (5-1 MW) on the season, 2-7 on the road. The Bulldogs are currently in second place in the MW standings.
The Bulldogs have excelled in singles play this season. In conference play, Fresno State is 19-5 in singles matches. Three Bulldogs are undefeated this year in conference play. Zdenek Derkas is 6-0, Cem Erturk is 5-0 and Cagatay Soke is 3-0. In doubles, Fresno State has only won two doubles points in conference play (2-4). Soke and Xander Veys own a team-best 10-8 dual doubles record.
Last week – Fresno State posted a 2-0 week, with a 4-2 win over UNLV and a 4-1 win over San Diego State.

In conference play, the Wolf Pack is 14-15 in singles matches. Nevada has been solid in doubles, winning five of six doubles points in conference play.
Last week – Nevada had a 2-1 week. The Wolf Pack claimed a 4-1 win over UNLV and a 4-3 win over UC Davis, but fell 4-3 to San Diego State.
Series history – Fresno State owns the all-time record 14-3. The last time the two teams met, the Bulldogs defeated the Wolf Pack 4-1 (2017 – Fresno, Calif.).
