Unlike the first four seasons under head coach Jaime White, this year's Bulldogs have been built on offense. The 'Dogs are currently averaging 72.4 points per game, their highest scoring output since the 2011-12 season (74.9 ppg).
Fresno State has increased its scoring average during each of the past two seasons since posting the program's third-lowest single-season average (60.1 ppg) during the 2016-17 season. That season was the Bulldogs' lowest output since the 1996-1997 season (58.8 ppg).
Fresno State has seen three players score double figures in 11 of 14 games this season. The 'Dogs have seen three games with four players in double digits and five Bulldogs have scored in double figures twice.
The 'Dogs are ranked No. 5 in the country and second in conference in free-throw percentage, knocking down 133-of-168 to shoot 79.2 percent on the season. This comes a year after setting the program's single-season record at 75.2 percent (369-491).
One of the top shooting guards in the country, Candice White has scored 232 points through 14 games this season, averaging a team-high 18.4 points per game to lead the Mountain West.Â

- Fresno State enters Saturday's game in sole possession of first place in the Mountain West at 3-0, a half-game ahead of Boise State (2-0) which was idle on Wednesday. The 'Dogs will be seeking a 4-0 start for the fourth time in their seven years in the league.
- The Bulldogs are averaging 72.4 points per game, the first time they have averaged over 70 points since the 2013-14 season.
- Like a season ago, Fresno State's top scorers have remained the same: Aly Gamez (10.4 ppg), Maddi Utti (10.6 ppg) and Candice White (18.4 ppg).
- Reaching double figures in scoring in all but one game this season, Candice White leads the MW in scoring by 2.5 points per game.
- White moved into Fresno State's top 10 in scoring last time out and currently sits at No. 9 with 1,365 points.
- The 'Dogs rank fifth in the NCAA and second in the conference in free-throw percentage, knocking them down at a clip of 79.2 percent. Hitting 26-of-28 on the season, Utti's 92.9 percent leads the team and conference with respect to players with over 25 attempts.Â
- Fresno State ranks No. 17 in the NCAA and first in the conference in steals per game, averaging 11.9 per game. The 'Dogs also sit at No. 57 in the country and second in the conference in turnovers forced with 19.57 per outing.
- Shooting 53.0 percent from the field (3rd in MW) while averaging 10.6 points per game and leading the team in rebounding (6.7 rbg), Utti also ranks fourth in the conference in steals per game, averaging 2.0 per game.Â
- Nevada enters Saturday's matchup with a 5-9 record and 1-2 in league play.
- Four of Nevada's five wins have come in its last seven games.
- While the Wolf Pack are scoring 64.0 points per game, they are allowing 70.0 per outing.
- Nevada's strongest area is on the glass as the team ranks No. 3 in the league in rebounds (549) and rebounds per game (39.2 rpg).
- Tarae Briggs ranks as one of the top players in the Mountain West. The senior sits second in scoring (15.9 ppg), field goal percentage (51.9) and double-doubles (6). She ranks fourth in rebounding at 7.9 per game.
- Jade Redmon is Nevada's second-leading scoring, and ranks ninth in the MW, at 13.5 points per game.
- Fresno State holds the all-time series lead, 44-12
- While the Bulldogs have dominated the series, the Wolf Pack won the season series last year 2-1 after defeating the Bulldogs in Fresno in the quarterfinals of the Women's Basketball Invitational.
- Fresno State dropped last season's regular-season contest in Reno, 90-73, the Bulldogs' worst defeat to the Wolf Pack since falling 71-53 on Jan. 31, 2004 in Reno.

- She currently sits at No. 9 on the all-time scoring list, moving up 11 spots during the first 14 games of the season. White has made her mark on the list in essentially two-plus seasons after playing only 69 minutes during her freshman year, scoring just 13 points.
- The senior is 22 points behind Alex Sheedy.
- White also leads the squad with six 20-plus point games, picking up two in her last two outings (28 and 26).
