On battling hard at the end…
"We had a great run there at the end, I wish we wouldn't have waited that long. I thought Kate did a good job coming and defending in the post, scoring in the post. Their height definitely was an issue for us. The disappointing part was our rebounding. We had position but didn't pull balls, didn't have an attention to getting back and blocking out."
On the team's effort…
"I thought our kids worked hard, they did everything we can. We pressed the whole game. I wasn't completely pleased with our press, but Maddi worked so hard on the top going back and forth. I think we gave ourselves a couple good chances to get some loose balls."
